Absence Request Form
The Madrasah does not grant parents/guardians an automatic right to take their child out of Madrasah during term time. If the request is for a holiday in term time, you must apply for permission in advance. It is highly advised to use holiday time for the purpose of the request, so that absence does not interfere with student education.
When deciding whether to allow term-time leave, for any reason, the Madrasah will consider:-
· The time and duration of the leave.
· Your child’s record of attendance.
· Learning that will be missed.
Note: To keep the place of the student, the fees will still have to be paid for the days they are absent.
Warning: If the Madrasah Management refuses your request and the child is still taken out of Madrasah, this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence and this may result in removal from the register and place on a waiting list for re-approval after re-application. Thereafter, the standard process will take place as it does for every new student.
